Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate, innovative, and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates across India. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining modern software applications that support business operations and customer experiences. You will collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, cloud architects, and fellow developers to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.

You will contribute to projects involving enterprise software, web applications, cloud platforms, APIs, databases, automation, artificial intelligence integrations, and modern software development frameworks. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.
• Build responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Develop secure REST APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, stand-up meetings, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
• Optimize software performance, scalability, and security.
• Develop and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Integrate third-party APIs and cloud services.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support automated testing.
• Document software architecture, APIs, and technical workflows.
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Work with Docker containers and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Research and implement modern technologies that improve engineering productivity.
• Maintain high coding standards and software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Go, PHP, or C++.
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React.js, Angular, Vue.js, or Next.js.
• Knowledge of backend technologies including Node.js, Express.js, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, Laravel, or .NET.
• Basic understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD concepts is desirable.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
