Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and curious DevOps Engineer to help bridge the gap between software development and IT operations. In this remote position, you will be instrumental in automating our infrastructure, streamlining deployment pipelines, and ensuring the high availability of our production environments. We invite both experienced professionals and motivated freshers who have a strong grasp of cloud architecture and CI/CD principles to contribute to our technical success.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will focus on building robust infrastructure as code, managing containerized environments, and monitoring system performance. You will act as a key liaison between development and infrastructure teams, ensuring that our software delivery process is efficient, secure, and resilient. This role is perfect for those who enjoy solving complex scaling problems and want to work at the intersection of automation, cloud security, and software engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and testing.
Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or Azure.
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision and manage environment configurations.
Monitor system health, performance, and security across all staging and production environments.
Implement and manage container orchestration platforms to ensure high availability and load balancing.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot deployment failures and system bottlenecks.
Automate routine operational tasks using shell scripting or configuration management tools.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations and deployment procedures.
Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards throughout the deployment cycle.
Optimize cloud resource utilization to balance performance with cost-efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Fundamental understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Basic knowledge of containerization concepts using Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Go).
Experience or coursework related to Linux system administration and command-line interfaces.
Understanding of version control systems like Git.
Strong analytical mindset with a keen interest in debugging complex distributed systems.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to automate manual workflows.
